Downtown Chico Business Association
Security Ambassadors are under the direction of a single Operations Manager and management structure. Security Ambassadors are responsible for patrolling on foot and bike to serve as additional ‘eyes and ears’ of the Chico Police Department, while serving as a visible deterrent. Ambassadors will report all activity that is deemed to be out of the ordinary and engage low level quality of life crimes in order to seek compliance through verbal request. All Ambassadors will provide a high level of engagement with workers, residents and visitors to improve perceptions of safety in both districts.

Fisherman’s Wharf CBD
The Fisherman’s Wharf Ambassador provides uniformed hospitality services for the Community Benefit District. The Ambassador makes contacts with representatives of businesses within the boundaries of the District for the purpose of being visible, introducing themselves, distributing information regarding special events and attractions occurring within the boundaries of the District and to listen to concerns expressed. The Ambassador documents and reports activities that occur during their shift especially as they relate to quality of life issues. The Ambassador engages pedestrians and provides directions and information about the District, to include attractions, activities, businesses, restaurants and other locations and attractions within the District and San Francisco.

Japantown CBD
Block by Block is proud to provide cleaning and hospitality services around the historic Japantown District of San Francisco. This district is one of only three Japantown’s in the State of California. This 7 day a week program provides cleaning services during the morning hours and hospitality services to the thousands of tourists who visit the Japantown district on a yearly basis.

Old Pasadena Management District
Provide Safety Guides to the downtown area. Assist the Pasadena Police Department by “observing and reporting” criminal activity. Provide customer service to all visitors, residents and business workers and owners in specified area. Provide supplemental safety services through vehicle, foot and bicycle patrols.
Provide Safety Officers for three parking garages managed by the Old Pasadena Management District. Duties are similar to the Safety Guides.

SF Travel/San Francisco Tourism Improvement District
The San Francisco Hospitality Ambassador Program is an exciting initiative to support the City’s recovery plan to jumpstart neighborhood recovery and support health, vitality, and safety in public spaces. The intent is to provide visitors and workers resources that welcome them back to downtown and provide a sense of safety, security, and well-being. The program will provide an experience for visitors and workers that makes them feel welcome and missed. Hospitality Ambassadors will be stationed in and around Downtown, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, major employment centers and key downtown transit hubs to welcome, guide, and answer questions for visitors and workers returning to the office.

Tenderloin Community Benefit District
The Tenderloin neighborhood is one of the most unique neighborhoods in one of the most unique cities in the United States, let alone the world. The Tenderloin requires a special kind of Cleaning and Maintenance Program which is unique, even amongst the other Bay Area Districts.
Our ambassadors will provide removal of litter, weeds and graffiti from the community benefit district. A very intensive power washing operation also ensures almost every block face in the district receives a consistent level of cleaning. Also, a significant focus is placed on special projects to enhance the long term appearance of the Tenderloin district.
